Trisha was transferred back over to UCSF last night to be close to her surgical team as they moderate her meds. She is feeling better and her spirits, as always, are great, considering the fact that she feels pretty lousy.
This post brain surgery recovery has its ups and downs - but she is in great hands, and the love and support of all her wonderful extended family and friends means so much to her - we thank you all.
We hope to have her back home today or tomorrow.

No fun being in the hospital, but (assuming you're on the 8th floor) if you're feeling like walking, go to the northeast corner of the building. Used to be that there was a very nice lounge there with a great view and a funky display case of old nurses' caps. A bit of a diversion, at least.
ReplyDeleteHi Trisha,
ReplyDeleteI wanted to come visit you on Friday evening, but I felt a slight tingle in my throat Friday afternoon and thought the better of it. I came down with a bad cold, so I'm really glad I didn't come over and add that to everything! I'm going to wait another few days to make sure this thing is whupped before I come by for a visit. Until then, maybe I'll be able to catch you on the phone.
Kisses, hugs, and many wishes for feeling better soon,
Sarah
So sorry to hear of your uncomfortable day(s). Think I'll give your mom a call & see if Steve & I can come visit somehow before we take off for Pine Mountain Lake on Sun. for 2 weeks.

Hi Trisha - I'm sorry it's been a bumpy ride the last few days. I'm glad to hear that you are feeling comfortable. I know you have the best medical care at UCSF and the best love and family care from your family and friends. I think of you everyday and wish you a steady, complete recovery.

Hi Trisha. We want you to know that good thoughts and prayers are coming to you from San Diego. Hope we can visit with you again on your 'private beach' when you are feeling better.

I have a card for Trisha. Should I send it to your house, John?
ReplyDeleteTrisha, I am thinking about you so much!
