Hi Everyone!
I'm here at John (my brother's) house, where I'll be staying for a (few more) weeks. John's keeping my hale (and almost hardy) soul a bit on the lively edge of the post brain tumor recipe. Okay, that was a lot to say in English after so many funny things going on in English after what my mom......wait.....
I'm going to have John re-write this, and maybe it'll make better sense.
John here! Trish is doing great, and is practically her old self again - but typing sentences is still a bit of a challenge, as you can see!
Her dear friend Allison Boles is here from Reno taking care of her for a few days, and Trisha's family are all stopping by individually for short visits. Too much stimulation wears her down fast and causes some frustration. We are finding that fewer, shorter visits, and no more that two or three people (including Trish) are best.

Hey there girlie,
ReplyDeleteAs soon as you and your brother think it best for me to come out you say the word and I am on a plane. I rounded up free minutes so it's no problem, just say the word and I am there! I can stay at my mom's and do a shift if you and john need that - you know that Doug, Todd and I are thinking of you constantly. ALL my love KT
Hi, Trish. Glad to see that you're starting to type whole sentences (and in English, even!). I'm also really glad to hear that Allison is there with you (hi, Allison!).
ReplyDeleteI'll keep up through the blog for now, and I'll look forward to emailing you personally in the coming weeks. Take care!
Julia

Hi Trisha,
ReplyDeleteGlad to see you're getting stronger by the day! Wondering if you remember helping our Odd Fellow organization search for a donated piano last month? And yes, thanks to you, we did find and have received an adorable, small Conway c.1926. It needs some work, but hey - everyone has a Steinway - WHO has a Conway? Only the Odd Fellows of Hayward, it suits us perfectly! Many thanks, well wishes and let me know if I can do ANYTHING for you at all!
xoxo

Glad to hear that Ali is also in town to help. You've got a great team on your side, but then again I don't need to tell you that.
ReplyDeleteWe're off to Europe on Monday...if Ali emails me John's address I'd love to send postcards.
Big hug to all.
Kit
You guys taking the weekend off?? I read every five minutes to see what's going on. I hope all is as well as it could be.
ReplyDeleteKisses,

Hi Trish, glad to see your (and John's) posts; we look forward to your progress reports. Kay & I are thinking much about you (always good stuff!).
ReplyDeleteHI Trish,
ReplyDeleteI am so glad that you are recovering, in good spirits and in good company/hands. Lots of breath being held across the world during your surgery and now lots of love sent from everywhere, through musical notes and heart vibrations, to you for speedy, comfortable and full recovery!!
Best wishes,
Judy Rowlings- Sainato (Veteran of OYC and PHS)
Hi Trish,
ReplyDeleteHaven't checked in in the last couple days. Been a little preoccupied. Certainly hope you've heard by now that little Chloe April Goldenberg was born this past Thurs. night after only 3 1/2 hrs. labor. We thought Laura was gonna be delivering her alongside the freeway. She's a little petite peanut at 5 lbs. 14 oz and has a full head of black hair. Pictures are abundant on Facebook.
We love you and think about you everyday.
